Description

The subwoofer driver uses a DMA-optimised motor system, which helps ensure accurate and linear cone movement. Dynamic Motor Analysis technology makes it possible to optimise motor force across the driver’s entire range of travel, helping to reduce distortion and achieve clean, controlled bass reproduction.

The design uses JL Audio Elevated Frame Cooling™ technology, which improves voice coil cooling and helps increase power handling. The W0v3 series also uses a long-excursion design, and the 12-inch model has a 2.5-inch voice coil.

Continuous power handling is 300 W RMS, and the manufacturer recommends using an amplifier rated at 75–300 W RMS. The 4 Ω nominal impedance makes the subwoofer suitable for many mono and multichannel car amplifiers.
