Description
The material’s optimised density and porous structure ensure good flexibility, so it can also be installed on surfaces with more complex shapes. Violon PT 540 is suitable for use as part of a multilayer sound insulation solution together with vibration damping materials.
According to the manufacturer, the material is especially effective in the frequency range 1200–2150 Hz. This helps to reduce mid-frequency noise and resonances that can affect the overall noise level in the car cabin and the listening quality of the audio system.
SGM recommends using Violon PT 540 primarily on the car roof, in the dashboard area and behind the door panels. The material has a self-adhesive backing with a siliconised protective layer, which makes installation more convenient.
