Description
The tweeter uses a 1-inch (25 mm) edge-driven aluminium dome with a silk suspension. This design is intended to achieve detailed and accurate high-frequency reproduction. The tweeter’s frequency response is 3.6 kHz to 22 kHz and its sensitivity is 91.5 dB (1 W / 1 m).
The JL Audio C1 tweeter can be installed both flush-mounted and surface-mounted. The mounts required for both installation methods are included, so the tweeter’s placement can be adapted to the vehicle and installation options.
The 1-inch model has a continuous power handling of 60 W RMS and a recommended amplifier power of 20–60 W RMS per channel. Nominal impedance is 4 Ω. The kit includes two tweeters, two crossovers and the accessories required for flush-mount and surface-mount installation.
