Description

The woofer/midrange drivers use JL Audio’s DMA-optimised design. Motor, suspension and cone modelling reduce distortion and improve transient reproduction. A mineral-filled polypropylene cone and well-damped suspension help achieve smooth midrange reproduction and a natural transition to the tweeter.

High frequencies are handled by 0.75-inch (19 mm) pure silk dome elements. They are designed to deliver smooth and clean high-frequency reproduction even off-axis. Both flush-mount and surface-mount installation options are available.

The system includes separate 2-way crossovers that use high-quality components, including a segmented air-core inductor. The tweeter level can be adjusted in three steps, and the crossovers also include a tweeter protection circuit.

Continuous power handling is 60 W RMS, and the recommended amplifier power is 15–100 W RMS per channel. With a nominal impedance of 4 Ω, a sensitivity of 90.5 dB and a frequency response of 59 Hz – 22 kHz, the system is well suited both to upgrading a factory audio system and to a car Hi-Fi setup with a separate amplifier.
