Description

The MicroSub™ enclosure is designed specifically for the W3v3 subwoofer driver used in it. JL Audio’s aim is to achieve the best possible sound quality and controlled bass reproduction from a small enclosure while retaining a space-saving design.

The W3v3 subwoofer driver uses JL Audio Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA) technology, which is used to optimise the behaviour of the driver’s motor and suspension. This helps maintain linear operation at greater cone excursion and reduce distortion.

The enclosure is made from CNC-machined MDF panels using JL Audio V-Groove™ construction, which allows precise and strong panel joints. The subwoofer driver is protected by a metal grille, making the system suitable for installation in the boot as well.

The compact MicroSub™ solution suits users who want to add high-quality bass to their car but do not want to sacrifice a large part of the boot for a conventional large subwoofer enclosure.
