17,20 €
SGM VIOLON10 is a sound absorbing material based on viscoelastic polyurethane foam, designed to reduce noise entering the car interior. The material’s open fine-pored structure helps absorb sound waves and is particularly effective at damping mid and high frequencies.

Description
The material’s high density and memory foam, i.e. shape-recovering, property allow it to conform to the shape of the surface being treated. The fine-pored structure increases the surface area in contact with sound waves, helping to improve sound absorption and reduce unwanted noise in the car interior.
According to the manufacturer, the material is particularly effective in the frequency range of 1200–6000 Hz. This makes it suitable as the sound absorbing layer of a multi-layer soundproofing solution in areas where mid- and high-frequency noise is to be reduced.
The material is self-adhesive, which makes installation easier even on surfaces with complex shapes. SGM recommends using it primarily on the car roof, behind door panels and in the dashboard area. The material is not moisture-resistant, so the manufacturer does not recommend using it in places where moisture may accumulate.
