JL Audio C5-075CT 0.75″ tweeters

Description

The tweeters use ferrofluid cooling and damping and a neodymium magnet. This design helps control driver movement and improves reliability under higher loads. The C5-075ct is suitable for use in both 2-way and 3-way component speaker systems.

For installation, you can choose between a flush-mount and a surface-mount solution. For flush mounting, the cutout diameter is only 38.1 mm and the required mounting depth is 14.2 mm, so the tweeters can also be installed in places with quite limited space.

The C5-075ct has a continuous power handling of 75 W RMS and a recommended amplifier power of 25–150 W RMS per channel. The nominal impedance is 4 Ω, the sensitivity is 90.5 dB and the frequency response is 4 kHz – 25 kHz.

The set includes high-pass filters with tweeter protection, as well as the mounts required for flush and surface mounting. The C5-075ct is well suited to building a high-quality car hi-fi system where clear, detailed high-frequency reproduction and flexible installation options are desired.
