SGM Izol FI4 multi-layer soundproofing material

Description

The bottom layer of the material is a 1.5 mm thick butyl rubber compound, whose purpose is to reduce vibration and resonance of metal surfaces. On top of it is a 4 mm thick foil-faced Izolon PPE layer, which contributes to sound and thermal insulation.

The advantage of the multi-layer construction is the ability to combine different insulation properties in one material. The self-adhesive construction makes the material convenient to install, and a 50 × 100 cm sheet covers 0.50 m².

SGM IZOL-FI4 is suitable for soundproofing various car body parts, helping to make the interior quieter and reduce noise travelling through the structures while driving.
