Description

The W1v3 series uses JL Audio’s DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) optimised motor system. This technology aims to ensure linear motor force over a wide range of cone excursion and power. The result is controlled, clean and accurate bass with a low level of distortion.

The subwoofer’s design uses a polypropylene cone and JL Audio Elevated Frame Cooling™ technology, which helps channel heat away from the voice coil. Better cooling helps increase power handling and maintain stable operation under heavier loads.

The W1v3 series’ low mounting depth and compact motor design make it possible to achieve strong bass reproduction even in space-saving installations. For the 10- and 12-inch W1v3 models, the manufacturer recommends using an amplifier with a power of 75–300 W RMS.
